FIRST WEEK OF IMPLEMENTATION
Retrieved September 10th, 2009 from http://www.flickr.com/photos/churl/250235218/Accoring to what have been planned in the program, the two lessons for the first week of implementation were taught.
- The kinesthetic activities turned out to be very useful for helping students to identify stressed, unstressed and reduced syllables.
- Students enjoyed F2F tutorial on Audacity and Podomatic. There were really engaged when creating their first podcast.

I found out very interesting information in students journals of this week. They felt surprised by the fact they could use technology to enhance their pronunciation practice and learning. They found really challenging the fact that they could record themselves and realize how they “sound” when speaking English. Some of them had never recorded their voices before. Once they started listening to themselves they found that their pronunciation had to improve. They had thought of it as good or acceptable but once they listened to themselves they found out many mistakes and aspects to work on.

Students also let me know that one thing that made them felt frustrated was the fact that they do not have a computer at home. They stated that this fact could hinder their performance thorough the process. The long time they took in uploading the podcast to their accounts in Podomatic made some of them feel disappointing. Nonetheless, they said they would do it later.
